after completing the 12 step softmod with larger harddrive, my original harddrive in the modchip xbox cannot load any dashboard..... i did a iso burn the evo-x harddrive format v1.0 and put into the xbox tray... it read but install less then 2 sec and it done........ yet cannot load evox dashboard.....help........ the professional.....

we all go thrrough this at some stage or another.
what error code are you getting?
if it`s 13 then your dashisn`t being loaded as you say,
copy evox dash to your c drive and make sure the default.xbe
is named evodash.xbe
if your getting 5 then your hdd is locked and your eeprom
isn`t the right one
I doubt you got a 6 but it`s poss, this means the hdd is unlocked.
21 i have found alot of the time to be there isn`t enough room
left on the hdd to write config files and stuff.
i think these codes are right but i could be wrong, often am!
