Ok i finaly got my xecuter3 chip to take a bios. only a 256k bios...i have the m8_16 bios installed now what do i do..??how do i get stuff on my xbox..i dont have nero or any program that burns discs..can i ftp to my xbox with out a dashboard installed? or do i need to get nero?thanks for the help.. _________________ [img] http://www.iPhotoshop.org/upload/images/logo4lp6.jpg[/img]

Ok Apollopimp,
The first thing your probobly going to want to do is get the Auto Installer Deluxe, you can find it on torrents and news groups, or the Vip section here. Then you can just run the disk and install you new dash and apps or whatever you want.
So, the answer to your question is probobly, YES... You are definetly going to have to get a burning program or find someone that can help you burn the AID disk in order to complete your BOX.
And to answer your second question, No... You cannot ftp to your box without some sort of dash, weather it be from a disk (like AID or Slayers) or on your hdd... I suggest getting AID, It's such a easy program to work with.

Get dvd decryptor it will burn and read ISOs (need to burn the AID) and its a free download....just type it into google, even works better then nero for xbox stuff in my opinion _________________ Xbox v1.0

I was just talking with a friend of mine who also mods and he said that on one of the new bios's that just came out that when you install it you can ftp in at the bios load screen??? not sure which one it is, maybe the new X2 bios just released. maybe you could look around. Alternatively you could just do what I had said before.

TREFALKM, just saw in your sig you have 19 gigs of emulators (assuming that inckudes roms, if not you have a hell of alot of systems emulated) just wondering if youd burn em to a dvd (or four) and mail em to me.
