i have an xbox modded with softmod installer deluxe v2.0. what do i have to do to convert it into a debug xbox? i would like to take in-game-screenshots, so i really need the debug functions. is it enough to use a BFM debug bios? or do i have to install the xdk also? did anyone manage to get this to work with the SID2.0??

I'll be honest... I have NO IDEA how to do this lol, never heard of doing it, however I have always wanted to take in game screenshots myself. If nobody else responds shoot DJB a private mess. hes the SID author so he would prob have the best idea about it. You are going to need BOTH the XDK and a Debug "BFM" BIOS (Very important that it's BFM).
If you can obtain them, you can easily replace the open.bin file in C:\SID with the BFM BIOS, and continue to set up the rest of your Xbox with the XDK.

thanks for the fast reply. i will try it ASAP. open.bin is the bios that gets loaded when the xbox is turned on via eject-button and close.bin is the bios when you turn on the xbox with the regular on/off-switch. is that correct?

Yup. The only reason why I suggest using the open.bin is so that you can have a normal boot when it's closed, then debug then the tray is open.

i managed to load the bfm-version from ind-bios v5003 (http://ind-bios.org/). i dont even know if this is a real debug bios. i did NOT manage to capture screen shots via Xbox Image Grabber 2 1.1 (2005-04-06) (http://www.xr8d.net/dev/). maybe someone can lead me in the right direction?!
