Okay, they say third time is a charm. This is the third case modding gift/special I have announced for all of our VIP members. This up-coming month I would like to offer the El Wire mod. For those who have never seen this, it's the glowing wire that outlines the X on the top of the case. It's a little more involved than my other case mod gifts, but I think will be a refreshing change.
I am trying to get an idea how much this is going to cost me. There are only 31 days in a month and I dont want to get bogged down doing fifty of these things every day. But, I do want to be as fair as possible and give as many people the opportunity to have this done.
So, what I am going to do is run this post for the next five days. You must show your interest in this time. I will bump this topic everyday so that way nobody can say they missed it. If the VIPs can do me a favor and spread the word to others that would help to. Maybe even forahobby can email the VIPs only and let them know, I am unsure. But, it would be a great help if I can have an idea of everyone who wants this done. Then I can do a reservation type of thing where I can tell each person when to send their case top to me.
No clear cases please. This mod will not work with a clear case. I use glue and tape on the underside and it will look hideous. Also, only one per VIP member and the colors are limited to:
Blue Red Green UV
If miraculously I can obtain other colors I will make that announcement separately. So, please show your interest asap. And, if you show interest please do not back out. I am going to order more product based on the interest. The only people that I will accept a change of mind are the people who want true blue. Because sometimes the El Wire comes out as Aqua, I would understand.
I've tried kicking this idea around a few different ways, but basically for now the way it works is I will have a very nominal price. This price is to help ease the costs of return shipping and product. The idea of this gift is to forgo having to pay high labor costs in getting this mod done. This is something that you can pay as much as $35.00 for as an add on with a mod. I am trying to get this done for less than half!
It would be great if one of your advertisers would supply the El Wire at cost to even make this idea more attractive so if any of our vendors read this and want to help, by all means do so!!

The cost will be, one millllllion dollars....
HA..actually, I am still getting everything finalized. I want to make sure the blue EL wire is nice and dark blue and not aqua. But I am thinking that this cost will be somewhere around $12.00 Which isn't bad. I am trying to get a better deal on the El Wire though. yea i suppose i'll pay 1 million but i'll do it in $8-$12 dollar payments with the first one being in April and then the next payment sometime in the year 2023. hope thats ok
