I was just wondering if it is or would be possible to play games of an ftp or anything like that, on a softmodded xbox. Or would i still have to put them on dvd or harddisk?

nope, can't play games off the network

Ok, thanks. I thought it might be easy to have when you have a xbox without an extra harddisk in it .
