I installed a softmod (Evox splinter cell) for a client and it worked fine. Now he brought it back and the xbox just says "XBOX Live is updating your system. Please do not turn off your XBOX" then inmediatly goes to another screen that reads "XBOX Live is not responding, please try again later"
I'm sure he tried downloading content from xbox live and somehow his dash got semi-updated, the thing is the now the xbox goes directly there and wont load up anything, not even originals or evox auto installer, no ftp access nothing. any suggestions?

do a cold start with the original game in and reinstall softmod
i had this problem before

What's a cold start? I even left it for 5 hours without power to see if it went to the clock screen and nothing. Which original are you referring to? cause I'm trying to load splinter cell again and wont load or halo 2 or anything else

cold start is when you put the game in the dvd drive, turn it off, then turn it back on, it should fix your problem.

if you cant get the cold start to work, you either have to put the hard drive in a chipped box and reinstall the microsoft dash or you gotta throw a chip in your clients box _________________ Blue Chaos
