Ok here is what has happend .
First i softmoded with 007 then did all backups and so on then when i was playing nascar 2005 poof it froze. so i let it sit for 5 min and nothing
so i turned it off and then back on ERROR 16
any help out there ? its a version 1.0
also ftp wont wor and it wont read any disc

Error 16 huh? Yeah a few of the xbox's ive moded have done this- im not sure how it happens- why it happens- but all i can tell you that Error 16 refers to your dashborad becomeing corrupt- which indeed is a bad thing. Thats one of th\e risk's of softmodding- they are very unstable. The only thing i can tell you to do is to download AID, burn it to a DVD, or CD-RW (Thats what i do) And run it through your system. And let me say this before you go to the trouble of downloading the 400 MB File, you need a mod-chip in order to do this. Ask some one to barrow a mod-chip if you dont want to buy one. Just install it, run AID and reformat your HDD back to retail settings- then try the Exploit agian. If you have any other questions just PM me.
