I have installed the Softmod auto installer with unleash X and its sweet good some to the person who made it forgot ur name
ok, now someone said i can install the AID thing now or something like that and it has a lot of apps and stuff on it. How would i install that and would it all fit on m stock drive??
ALos if i wanted to go on xbox live what would i have to do? someone said if i place in halo2 then trun off my xbox and then trun it back on without opening the try i will be able to go on xbox live, is this true??
I also wanna start modding halo 2 can someone get me started please? Thanks

that is how you get banned,
if you want to use XBL you can always uninstal your mod provided that you made a ms backup BEFORE you installed your softmod.

Ok, but.... how do i go back to the normal dash thing pr w/e? so i can go on live? and then if i want to re softmod my box do i have to go thru all the installing like launching mech aslute and run linux and all that? and what if i have some emulators would it get erased??

Please someone answer i really need to no how to do this. cause i wanna keep the mod but i dont want to go off and reinstall it all over again.
Cause when i palce the game in the game launches but is it safe to go on live? some people said its actullay ok. I my self had the mech installer ion my xbox once and when i went on nothing happend

NO! it is not safe to go on live #1

#4 ok lets go.... have you burned the aid to a cd-rw or dvd-r?? If not have you downloaded it. What you could do if you can't get the disc to read then just ftp over to your xbox into the games folder since it now has an IP 192.168.0.2 (for Unleash X). Also, you're not going to have enough room to copy over halo 2 and then start modding it. H2 takes up 4.6 gigs aprox. and the e drive only has 3.5 available and the F only has 2.5 (after you format it with the AID).
#5 ok to go on live. starting from the beginning! WHen you first did the softmod did you click on Create M$ backup? If not then you need to run the aid and install the microsoft dashboard to the C drive. Then run the SID and create M$ backup then reinstall the softmod and UX. Then restart the box open and create a MOD backup. And just leave the mod on. To go on live!!!! start the box by opening the tray and clicking on restore M$ backup! this will unistall the softmod and UX (but not apps or files) and reinstall the backed up microsoft bios and crap. then you can load any game and go on live! you cant just start the box with a game and go on ... NO! dont ever do that!. To turn the mod back on run mechassault or whatever game you used and click run linux ... restore mod backup and your mod will be back to the way you just saved it !

I created a Ms Backup and then i clicked on restore Ms backup or w/e then it went thru some ppx thing something like that and then i restarted it and i got the Ms dashboard back. But when i tryed going on xbox live it brought me to the trouble shooter and it couldnt find my IP or something like that.
Did i make a boo-boo?
