I have my seagate hdd hooked to my pc and the pc recognizes it. How can I now view the files and folders on this hard drive? I still have my PC hdd as the master and the seagate as the slave.

Is the drive locked or unlocked?
You cannot view the files unless it's unlocked. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

It is unlocked. Before I took it from the xbox I used Flashbios 3.0.3 to unlock the hdd. I then put it in my PC and need to access the folders and files on that hdd. How can I do this???

Well, your OS on your PC should recognize the drive. When I did that once all I did was let me XP do the work. Once I popped in the drive (I made sure that I flipped the jumper to slave) I disco'd my extra CD Rom Drive and connected the IDE cable to it. When I rebooted my PC windows XP did the rest of the work.
If all is okay it should just show up. Why are you trying to connect it to your PC? You could have easily just FTP'd the data you wanted from the Xbox to your PC...

I have the xbox hdd set as salve by pulling the jumper switch off. My Western Digital HDD on my PC is set to Master with Slave present. When I started the PC XP recongized the xbox hdd and showed me the bubble down at the right saying found new harware. Then it finished. When I goto device manager I see both my hdd and they both showing operating correctly. When I go into Windows explorer I can only see my normal drives such as a, c, d, etc... I cannot see the folers that are on the seagate ST310014ACE xbox hdd. I need to see those folders f, e, etc... The reason I don't ftp is I can't. I was screwing around with config magic and ended up rebuilding my eeprom which cleared all the settings to zero and loaded to the hard drive. Now when I boot the xbox it will not boot. I used a programmer and reflashed the bios on the xecuter 2.6 chip to bank 1 & 2 being flashbios 3.03 and bank 3 & 4 to evox 8 plus_16 for xbox versions 1.6B. I have the backup eeprom and hdd key on my xbox hdd but cannot get to it without hooking up to my PC and then access the folders. I need HELP!!!

OIC, yeah, hopefully someone can get a more definitive reason why you can't see your drive. Hang in there, hopefully someone else will reply. Sorry I couldn't help you any further.
I am going to move this post to another area that will get more coverage. Right now you are limited to only VIPs seeing it.

Hiya
Correct me if I am wrong, but are you trying to put an xbox drive into the PC and trying to read/edit the xbox files on it?
If so XP is not able to do that, it will find the drive but not read it as it is in a format un-supported by XP, there is a prog that will let you see the files but it is not that reliable if I recall correctly.
Regards
