hi realy noob question i bought my xbox already chipped or softmodded how do i tell which when it starts i get the big x and underneath it says xecuter2 then avalaunch starts???
plus is a link cable just an ordinary crossover cable cheers

well check if is been opened or a switch is on the side, that tells its been chipped

no swirch but yes its being opened, but that does not mean its chipped is there anything (programs which will tell me)?

Only way to tell if its chipped vs softmod or tsop flash is to open it and look. CHips usually have lights on the chip itself so if light is emitting from the inside that may be a sign. Just get a torx 10 and torx20 screw drivers and opn your box. If youre worrying about the warranty its already void since your box is modded. Who did you buy from? and why didnt they tell you what you were buying? _________________ Xbox v1.0
