I let a friend borrow my soft modded xbox and when he returned it he had really screwed it up. It no longer plays burned games. It no longer has a dashboard. If u turn it on without a game, you get the dreaded code 13. However it will play regular games. I tried going back to mechassualt and loading linux from there but it just freezes up. Not sure if itcan be saved. Any Ideas guys?

Sounds like you may need to install a modchip and install a new hardrive to restore the Microsoft Dashboard.

Hi! Try with 007 AUF Exploit, because I know it can work directly from your memory card without transfer the gamesave on your HDD. When you have FTP access, check the integrity of your HDD e try to restore the file corrupteb, maybe default.xbe i think wiith error 13.
