i know this is a weird question, but i want to learn to mod my box and do other things to it so bad, and i dont really know anyone that knows what they are doing.
so my question is if anyone in here lives anywhere around me and would help me out, or if u know anyone that would.
i live in michigan, in the detroit/roseville/warren area
im only 16 and i have no experience with any mods
thanks for listening to my crazy questions, and the only reason tha i asked is because everyone in this forum is so friendly, and everyone seems like they want to help out ppl that are just starting out.

Best way to learn is to just dig in. If I was closer to you I'd let you watch me while I chip a few machines, but unfortunately I am in PA. Although I did just have a guy from Indiana drive out to me to watch me do one....lol
Anyway, just read up as much as you can and get a basic understanding. Get all the tools you need, and ask around what people prefer and why.
I prefer using a 25watt soldering iron, but some will tell you don't go over 15watt. I prefer .022 thickness solder, some prefer .032.
Plus there are different things to do, you can learn sofmodding , chipping, or TSOP flashing.. My preference is chipping.

oh yea, i got ur email about your prices, and im considering sending you my xbox and having you beef it up for me.
but it will be a little while before i have the cash, so i just wanted to let you know that i want it done, and when i would be able to send it out to you.

No problem bud, if you want, I can do some type of an installment play for you where you just ship me what you have when you have it. Then once you have it all paid, you can ship me your machine.
I'll keep all the money in my paypal account until you are ready. Sometimes that helps people, but if you would rather wait that's cool too. I am pretty flexible and just want to help people in any way I can. I'm not one to run off with anyones money either. I have a lot of refs that I can give in the event you require some.
