Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, and to everyone who leaves good responses in this forum a big thank you.
I've succesfully soft modded three xbox's now with the softmod installer deluxe without a hitch, including one with a 80gb maxtor 7200rpm swap. The only confusion I've had is figuring out the format procedure for drive f, but even that couldn't stand up to the awesome answers I found amongst the posts.
Three seems to be lots of "I borked it" posts and questions, just wanted to leave some great feedback for you all.

I know what you mean when you say there are alot of "I borked it" posts and questions but hopefully once we help those guys they can come back and lend a hand with other members issues..
