Hey my XBOX-HQ family i have a question.I'm gonna mod a friend's XBOX tonight with the splinter cell memmory card hack.Once i do that can i swap the hard drive with a bigger one and install it with the auto installer deluxe disc?Please help. Also i just heard that softmod auto installer is good to soft mod with.How do that work if you cant boot a dvd-r unless the system is already modded so that it is capable of reading the disc? _________________ Xbox 1.0/1.6b

lol if you put the hard drive in and then put the AID in the box will not work and will come up with an error code because your xbox is doesnt have a bootable bios from the hard drive. So instal the SC audio hack, install evox or unleash x , then put in the AID, run it, then WHILE THE AID IS STILL RUNNING swap your hard drives, unlock it , format it, and then instal the M$ Dashboard, then lock the hard drive. Then see if the box boots like a normal one. If it works put SC back in and do the softmod again and instal whatever you want!!! This is how i install bigger harddrives in my friend's xboxs if they arent putting a chip in it. If you have any questions let me know! _________________ Blue Chaos

I've just finshed reading the read-me for soft mod installer and i have a question.Once i've completed the soft mod installer can i run auto-installer deluxe and use that disc to redo everything or will this mess up what soft mod installer does to to system.And if i am able to go behind softmod installer with auto installer delexe after i'm done when i open the door will the soft mod screen appear or will it just go the dashboard that i picked(which is what i want it to do.). _________________ Xbox 1.0/1.6b
