Just installed my Xecuter3 version 1.5 xbox cyrstal (solderless install) and it boots to the m$ dashboard fine and no fragging.
BUT
I can not get the original bios to load that the manafacture put on the chip. cromwell i think.
all the led's on the chip light up and on the external memory bank switch the light is both blue and red. No matter what button combination i choose.
Any help plese.

I have the x3 on my ver 1.6, you just need to tap the power button lightly to get it to fire up the x3 rox my box(you should get the blue light). If you hold it for a second or so it goes to the M$ dash(red light) Hope this helps

im pretty sure all crystal xboxes are v1.6-1.6b

to double check you can clcik the link below:

the x3 comes flashed with either the v3.01 or v3.03 flashbios.

3.01 = Works on all versions except v1.6b

3.03 = Works on all versions except v1.6
