Hey everybody, i'm a newbie. I'm sure this question has been asked many times, but how do I transfer a game file to my PC? I have a Xenium Ice mod chip in my xbox and I have an Evolution-X M8 BIOS and I have an Evolution X Dashboard. That is pretty much as far as i've got. I want to back up some of my games on to my PC but i don't really know how.

Sorry in advance if this is a retarded question. I'm just trying get familiar with my newly modded xbox. Thanks!

Just FTP into your Xbox and find the game...most likely either in F: or G: I believe, but u can just surf around and find those suckers, anyway, just drag and drop the game(s) into a folder on your PC of your choice...if you need to know how to FTP...I'll grab the link real quick for ya and post it.

hope that does the trick Very Happy

ttyl

Hey when I FTP into my xbox nothing comes up in any of the files. The only thing that comes up is "Parent Directory"

This only happens when I have a game in my xbox. Otherwise I can FTP with no problem.

haha what the hell? Now i'm confused. How can I backup a game without having the game in the xbox? I don't have any games saved to my xbox or to my PC.

Well in order to get the Xbox game backed up to your PC u need to have it backed up onto ur Xbox's HDD first...so then u can just FTP it ocer to the PC.

I take it u have a stock HDD?

Well if u have the room...back up 1 game at a time with the Xbox and then FTP it over to the PC and delete it from the Xbox and repeat lol.

If you have a DVD burner u could just back them up on DVD once they are on the PC. although a few games wont go onto DVD yet such as Ninja gaiden and some others

well since u can at least FTP now, download DVD2XBOX from here http://xbox-hq.com/html/downloadvip-file-729.html&title=dvd2xbox%200.6.3

and then FTP it into your xbox under Apps and then reboot ur xbox...DVD2XBOX is very simple to use.

PS...do u have any type of IM service? such as AIM or AOL...or Yahoo?
