Hey guys -

I recently installed a new 80GB hard drive into my box. I used AID to setup the drive and install my dash, emul., apps, etc. At first I thought pretty much everything was working beautifully, though I have discovered a bit of a problem now... My Xbox seems to refuse to play "backup" DVD movies. These movies worked fine before I installed my dash. (Avalaunch). Now when I throw in a flic it loads to the MS dash and says that the disc cannot be read. The normal BS about not being a DVD or Xbox game. System plays original DVD's fine in DVDx2 or XMBC. Am I missing something or what? Please help guys, I'm sitting here just staring at a 300disc movie collection that I cannot watch anymore. Crying or Very sad Thanks!!!!

hi Akoboe,

Im no avalaunch expert but im guessing you need to edit some sort of .xml or .ini for the ava dashboard and point it to the hacked DVD PLAYER like DVDX.. You know what i mean.

Maybe in the options of avalaunch there might be a setting to be changed.. I know it can be done but just havent played with AVA for such a long time.

let us know how you go and if we can help more.
