i used the auto installer and i backed up my eeprom n dashboard.... n then i did the softmod and then formatted the HDD and added the soft mods and AID dashes and i didnt put back MS Dash on the C:....n everything was workin fine untill i turned off the Xbpx and now when i turn it on and i have no game loaded into the DVD-ROM the xbox starts up and boots the ERROR 13 instead of the regular MS Dash or a hacked Dash... the game save is for some reason no longer on their i assume because of the format but my xbox live stuff is still their.... wut do i do to get rid of the error 13? the hacked Dash n w/e else i installed like boxplorer r all on e:..... how can i get the Xbox to boot a hacked bios or the AID DVD dashes without havin a save on their cuz i dunno how else i can get the save back on da HDD.....

f#&@ I HATE THAT CODE lol i was on it for 2 days lol it never want to see it again lol its simple u made a back up b4 installing mod right ? if so just pop in the game (i used splinter cell) and it loaded fine when the game is in.... then i just reloaded the sid and bingo put it back to normal and redid the softmod works fine now lol

but the thing is i cant get to the Xbox original dashboard or ne hacked dashes at all so i cant send the SID save or ne of the saves i have on my memmory card to the xbox.....im trying to get the save onto the xbox ne way possible...

well if u know ne games or programs i can boot from a Xbox cd so i can acces my memmory card on the xbox and load from it or copy its contents 2 the HDD...please let me know cuz i really dont wanna have 2 get a mod chip....

hey try splintercell then go in download content.....but i dont think it will work because error 13 is
Dashboard launch failed (due to missing/bad key, or anything else that would prevent it from running) and the dashboard didn't specify why it failed.
Solution: Lock the Harddisk if not done so. Try updating your M$ Retail Dashboard using the 'HQ Auto Installer v1.01'. or manually download and install one of the 4 different Microsoft Dashboard versions.
so really ur dashbord is fucked... i really think ull have to get a chip to FTP or borrow one from a friend or something.... or send it somewhere for repair i think the ModGod would do it if he can id send it to him hes reliable
anyways do u have aim or msn or something so he can talk live lol its easier.....to help...

yeah i have msn my email address is cb4life28@hotmail.com juss add me and you'll c me online most the time except for when im working or at school.... but im not entirely sure wut approach it is u were writing about...i can easily get a copy of splintercell but its juss i have 2 figure away to get a game save hack of ne sort to my HDD..... thats all thats really needed...once i have that their i can boot up the AID.....

Which game did you use to try and softmod it? You should be able to just load that game back in the xbox, and it should work. Just go back into the softmod, and then start working on restoring the backup. _________________

i load the game in the dvd tray by putting it in b4 i power on the system so that im quick enough to get it 2 boot the DVD b4 it tries to laod the MS dash that causes the error 13 to appear...... then from their the game boots up normally instead of the softmod......r their ne buttons or some kinda thing i can access to trigger the softmod?
