i tried ftp from d drive xbox to pc but it starts to go than dies out after 2 minutes how can i get my dvd iso into my hard drive

i never transfer files from the xbox dvd directly to iso , just ftp the files first then create an iso but if this is not the problem then maybe a firewall is disconnecting the xbox if u r running one _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a

my problem i have a backup dvd of a game i made it 1 month ago now i want to get the dvd into the hard drive. what do i do. thx

use nero save track option and save it as iso to ur pc harddrive,

What you do is use a program to extract the game files.
Then, Just FTP the extracted files over to your F:/Games folder or wherever your games folder is on your Xbox HD.
You can use programs like CXboxTool 2
Any program that creates .iso's usually extracts too. For instance, if you have a iso file that is Halo. It's basically one file (halo.iso maybe) Then, all you do is open CXboxTool 2 and select Extract ISO. Then, navigate to your DVD drive on your PC and selct halo.iso from the disk.
It will then ask you where you want to save the extracted files. Just pick a place on your PC HD and the the games beging....no pun intended.
Once the files are extracted just FTP them to your Xbox. You may need to reboot your Xbox for the game to be auto added to your list, not sure. Just let me know if that doesn't work for you.

i put my dvd which i have burnt iso game i goto extract iso but shows nothing on my disc but i know there is because game plays on xbox.???????

i just tried iso buster it made a tao file what do i do with that
