Hey all,
I was hoping I could get a little advice. I am getting the famous "Dirty Disk" error. Here is the twist. I have two XBOXs. I can swap the drive to the other XBOX and it works just fine. I have an older XBOX with a Samsung drive and the newest one (i forget what it is). Anyways, I have tried swapping IDE cables until I got tired of taking the XBOX apart. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. Both DVD drives work in the new XBOX. Both drives give the same message when in the OLD XBOX. This cannot be a problem with the drive.

I hate to say it, but since it's not the lense then there is nothing else one could personally clean. It probably has to do with the older motherboard in the xbox. That is weird, though...
