Hey there, I have not ever had a problem with my modded xbox but just today for some odd reason, after the X logo splash screen, just before entering evox, my evox keeps reloading.

It will flash the Logo screen then restart itself in a vicious cycle its weird. I put in my Slayers Evox 2.6 cd and evox loads but not from the HDD. Well I upgraded my Evox on F from the disk thinking it would be a fix, but I was wrong. Same problem. Anyone experience this before? Thanks for any help guys really!

I have recently heard of the clock loop but I am not 'SOFT MODDED'

I have xbox 1.0
250g HDD
m8 modifies bios
xenium ice solderless
Evox dashboard (latest build)

I have actually heard of this issue I think. I'll have to look around and see what I can come up with.

Thanks alot TheModGod.

I have went as far as FTPing the Evox.ini from the installer disc, to my Evox.ini on my HDD but same thing. At first my MS Dash gave me an error, so I locked the drive...same thing. So I put a CD in the tray and loaded the MS Dash again and it fixed the problem. But Evox is still plagued. Hope the information helps. Also before it started looping I just got done playing my Ninja Gaiden from my HDD (I was using a trainer that had to have the Default.xbe renamed to game.xbe, so that I could FTP the 'traner's' Default.xbe) and had evox trainer enable. So I had 2 trainers working at the same time.

I do cut ALL power from my xbox because it is hooked up to my 'Network' and I cut off the power to let the network 'rest' sometimes but never had a problem with the xbox, but then after using it suddenly I do.

Just typing pretty much how the day went prior to the situation hopefully to give ANY clues as to what happened now. Thanks again TheModGod.

I have a xenium ice solderless as well and had the same problem....check your chip and adapter connections and the D0 point. I had to get a new screw (10 cents at home depot) that was the same size, but longer then the one that came with the solderless adapter. I screwed all the way through the bottom of the box so I could see the "pointy" end of the screw stuck out the bottom of the case, then shaved it off. Havent had problems since.....hope that helps. DOnt know if it was my D0 or the screw as I ficed em both at once. Lemme know if you get it fixed.

I just restalled my Xienum solderless kit (many times trying to get it positioned to work properly again lol) prior to reading your post. I even took the screw you mentioned completely out and making sure I was hitting the connecting points throughout the whole re-install. I toyed with the d0 for a long time to get it 'precise' or it would not work at all. All seems when untile I load evox from my HDD. but it will load from the 2.6 slayers evox install cd. Thanks MUCH for your input Andrewfrink

I fixed it, I formatted the drive and reinstalled EVOX and it works now! I guess when I was FTPing music to the F drive and maybe something got corrupt. ALL IS WELL Smile

it still happens and seems to not load after the Splash Screen after I FTP things and the only remedy is to reformat and install Sad at this point, it does not seem to be d0. This is still under investigation.
