Hi all!
For all the softmodder... stay alert
I've modded some XBox with softmod without problem, using the latest "SoftMod Installer Deluxe V1.01".
But now i've big failure with this Xbox (V1.4).
After the SoftMod installation (i use "MA" trick and all the installation process) i turn off the console, and when i turn on again i've black screen and the power led blink for just 1/2 second "green", then blink "red" forever!
I think there's problem with the internal eeprom, deleted or corrupted
Question: is possible?
The "softmod installer" overwrite the internal Xbox eeprom?
I'm desperate
Anyone with this problem???

I've fixed the problem, with an eeprom programmer
My suggestion: before install SID you must backup your eeprom with evox dash!

The Softmod installer doesn't touch the eeprom at all, it basically manipulates files on the hard drive.
I don't know what the hell happened with your eeprom as this is the first I've heard of this problem...

Normaly the save game exploit gives you always a back door to install your C files back.
there for always as soon you have acces true ftp back up your C files.
one week ago when I was using softmod installer deluxe on my one xbox some how my compleet C drive was emty.
Normaly your Xbox always boots from an original game even the C drive is gone.
sinds the installer doesn't touch your E drive you can always run the exploit again.
