Beeing quite a newbee, I am woundering what is the difference between locked and unlocked HDD. Is it best to have the HDD locked or unlocked?

a locked will not accept data without the data knowing the hd's password before writing it. unlocked is the opposite, it'll allow all writing the the hd without a pw. Having the hd locked is ideal since you'll never boot the ms dash while the HD is unlocked. _________________ Death is certain, Life is not.
