ok, i just bought and installed the Xecutioner 3 mod chip. now i have a 250 gig hard drive in the mail but i want to get Evox and all the goodies to work on my stock Xbox hardrive first, so i know that it will work on my big HDD. So.....i turn on my xbox and it says Flash Bios 3.0.1 or somethin with a few options. Enable Network Flashing, Load BIOS from HDD(C:/Bios), Load BIOS from Disck, Unlock HDD, Lock HDD. Well my friend and i have got Evox off the net and have tried loading it through a Copied CD-rw and through our computers. We make sure that we bush "unlock HDD" first before we do anything. when we do that the screen turns black and then goes back to how it was. so we insert the Evox Cd-rw and "load BIOS from Disc" it comes up and acknowledges Evox. The progress bar goes yellow then green and shuts off. (now we read that we were doing everything right from teamexecuter.com in the tutorial about loading bios from Disk.)So after the progress bars are done the xbox shuts off. we read that you just turn it back on and there ya go, BUT!!!! im not so lucky. mine goes to same exact screen we started from and my hard drive has no acknowledgement of the bios we just supposedly put on it.
PLEASE HELP!! im going insane and have been messing with it for 3 days.

Hello, you are making the same mistake most new modders make and that's not understanding how the mod chip works.
First, you should keep your stock HD in the machine until you have your chip setup properly. This will avoid you getting any error codes if your chip doesn't boot properly and enables you to trouble shoot without adding more error codes to the mix.
Your mod chip is most like the Xecuter3 as I have never heard of a Xecutioner chip.
The Xecuter3 or X3 as most people call it is a pretty heavy duty chip and you will have a lot of features that you probably won't use for quite some time so lets get the basics rolling first.
Evolution X is a dashboard. It runs off of the HD. You will not be able to install it until your mod chip is flashed with a hacked bios. Because TeamXecuter likes to keep things proprietary you can only use a certain bios with that chip.
You need to find the 1959 bios for the X3.
You also need to know how to set your switch so you can properly flash your chip. The fact that you are in flashbios now is a good thing.
That means your chip is installed correctly.
You have three ways you can flash this chip.
1.) you can burn a bios CD and flash right from the Xbox DVD Drive
2.) You can use the networking/webserver functions and flash right from the web browser on your PC
3.) You can FTP the bios to your Xbox HD (stock drive) and flash that way.
Please see this quick reference guide here on our site in regard to switch settings and flashing.
Once flashed you should then get the LiveConfig screen and be able to further customize your mod.
After flashing, here are some more steps you need to take.
Install larger HD
Format and Prepare Larger HD
Install MS Dashboard to your New HD
Install Hacked Dashboard to your new HD
Install your applications.
Lock the HD.
That's the basics, let us know where you need help next. I recommend getting an autoinstaller to do all the dirty work for you.

so are you saying i have to get an illegal bios from someone/somewhere before i can do anything? and if that the case (im sure you can't but) can you help me with that?

Basically, what I am saying is unless a modchip has a hacked bios on it your Xbox will not run any different that a regular machine.
There are legal Cromwell bios' out there but they will not let you boot an installer disk, thus you won't be able to put on EvolutionX.
Evolution X is also a hacked program (hacked dashboard). You can get your bios in the same usual places that you got your dashboard.

so if i pay to become a v.i.p. i will have EVERYTHING that will make my xbox "modded out" including the 1959 program, and evox, or anything else i would need to have to make this dang thing work? sorry to ask questions but i am a newbie and before i pay 10 bucks (im a college kid) i need to confirm that this WILL work. thanks again for answering.

I GAURANTEE YOU THE $10 IS WORTH IT !!!! I paid it cautious too, and it turned out to be the BEST $10 I ever spent! Once you start going on this site, you cant stop and the downloads in the VIP Section make it all worthwhile. You won't have to go to ANY! Other site to get files. This is the BEST box modding site on the internet!!!! There are plently of people who can help you out, and in a short time you will easily turn from a nOOb into someone who can help the new nOObs! when my xbox turns on the xecuter rox my box symbol comes up and then into the 1959 screen. there are many options: X3 Config Live, Bios tools, Disk Tools, EEprom tools, settings, hardware info.......reboot to dash, and cold reboot. i need to know what i do next. i'm assuming i have to put evox on but i don't know how. also, im getting a new harddrive and its in the mail........when should i stop messing with my stock harddrive and just wait for my new one?

At this point it sounds like your chip is working. I would not alter the original hard drive myself. I would now wait for the new drive, install it and in the mean time download and burn the THE XBOX-HQ AUTO INSTALLER DELUXE v1.0 at http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/downloadsvip-cat49.html. Once you have installed your hard drive, boot your disk and install your burnt cd/dvd in your Xbox. There's really not much you can do with the stock HD..but, if you insist, then what I would do is install your hacked dashboard and maybe XBMC. This will allow you to play backups and back up one or two small game files.
This way, you will maybe have a head start on understanding how to backup to the HD and remove games from the HD. It will also give you an opportunity to create your first Game ISO file and burn your first backup, so there is some value if you look at it that way.
By adding the dash you will also get some valuable FTP experience.
Also, it wouldn't hurt to learn how to grab your game saves off of your existing HD so you can transfer to your new HD.
