Hi Guys,

Please help me get off the ground with my Xenium Ice Solderless install. I have completed the installation and booted to the Xenium OS successfully. However, each time I create a launch entry to boot to the default TSOP OS and launch it, the box will power off and reboot back to the Xenium OS. What I am doing wrong? I am guessing that this is the most basic operation that should be without difficulty.

Xbox version 1.0
Xenium 2.0.1

Please help....

Hmmmm....weird one.

I have seen someone else having this problem. Here is what I would try. Update your XOS to the newest. It may be an OS issue.

Basically, burn the .iso version of the recovery to a DVD-R and select recover from the XOS menu. See if that helps.

FYI,

I fixed the problem by grounding the modchip better. Also, I used the blue/black wire harness to connect D0 and ground to the modchip. I did not use the bare wire that comes out of the solderless adapter. Hope that this post will save someone some grief down the road.
