ok basically i have some how screwed up the bios!
i have a xbox 1.6 or 1.6b not sure and i just installed the xecuter 3 chip. Its all solderd in nicely and works ok.
Now when i went to flash the bios for the first time, the guide said to have bank 1 and 2 on, and 3 and 4 off but when i did this it just booted to a blank screen. So i tried 1 and 2 off, and 3 and 4 on (i have the pro crystal front pannel switch thing btw) and it booted to the flashbios 3.03. So i selected flash via http, selected the X3_1959_v16plus.bin and clicked upload and flash. The yellow bar on the screen went all the way and the green bar got to about 1/4 and froze. After a while i turned it off, and wen i turn it back on again it just frags =/. so then i tried the bank 2 on, which is the 2nd 1mb bank i think, and it just went to blank screen, so i reversed the switches (1, 3 and 4 on, 2 off) and it worked like before. I then did the same as i did befor and the same happened and it now frags as well.
so basically all the combinations i try, it either frags or just goes to a blank screen and i dont know what to do =/
When it goes to a blank screen, the power LED stays green for bout 20 seconds, then changes to solid orange, dont know if this means n e thing.
I have also tried booting to the 256k back up (wen the blue and red led are on) and every single bank combination just goes to a blank screen.
So i think ive basically screwed up both the 1mb bios banks and cant fix it, unless i have like a bootable bios disc which will auto flash the bios wen booted... and i have no idea how to do that or if its even possible.
Ive searched loads of forums and cant find n e thing that will help me so please help, i realy dont know what to do =/
