hey folks been getting use to my ice box and was wondering if someone can answer this question for me. i got the letest evox bios installed in it and it works great but my only problem is i cant install the dash from the cd, the xenium ice chip has the tsop wich i know what that is and the flash wich i know its to install from the dvd but when i go to install the dash from the dvd it wont let me saying file is to big wich common sense does tell me that yea the file is too big duh but i also have on the ice chip add item from hard drive but when i hit yea it goes to yet another screen saying that the hard drive is not yet fully tested and i cannot use this procedure yet. i installed xeniums latest bios (i think) wich is 2.22 and yet still the same bs. aslo i down loaded one of the installers and burn it to specs but it wont boot up on my xbox but i can go to add items and look inside the dvd thats how i got the evox bios. so is it that im doing something wrong to put the dash on my xbox? or is it that xenium just wont let me put another dash. or can i just skip the whole thing and just go ftp and install it from there. _________________ XBOX v1.4:

You dont install the Dash to the Xenium Ice mod chip. You flash a hacked bios.
Basically, you are installing a 256k bios to the mod chip. It has to be a hacked bios otherwise your machine would only do what a regular Xbox would do.
Depending on your Xbox you should either use an Xecuter2 4983 hacked bios or the EvoX M8, or M8 plus for 1.6b machines.
The dashboard gets installed on the HD in the C partition.

dam that was a quick response! i love this site thats vip perks lol. ok MODGOD i got what your saying so i got it right i have the evox m8 installed. so ok the dash goes in the hard drive in the c partition kool. now how can i do that by ftp'ing it? _________________ XBOX v1.4:

You could do that. But, if I am not mistaken that is going to leave you needing to possibly change some file names, prepare other folders, and even edit the .ini file to your specific needs.
I seriously recommend you use an Autoinstaller. As a VIP you have access to the FTP .ISO download and the bit torrent file.
If you wish to not download it or your connection speeds aren't that great such as dial up, then we can possibly help you out in obtaining a copy of the AI.
There is an authorized distributor of the AID and he can get you a copy lickety split.
What the AI will do for you is simply marvelous! It will properly prepare your HD by createing the needed folders on various partitions. It will also format/partition a brand new drive or retail drive if you need it to along with locking and unlocking the drive.
It will install any of the following dashboards.
EvoX Build 3935 or 3921 (go with 3935)
Avalaunch
MXM
UnleashX
or even XBMC as your dash.
Once your dash is installed, the .ini file will already be configured correctly according to your setup so no tweaking will be needed. The AI will also install your applications that you need in order to backup games, play divx movies, MP3s and all sorts of other fun modding stuff!

Dude you freakin rock i wasnt aware of the xbox-hq auto installer so i went for the bittorent file and got it under an hour and a half (yea i got good high speed bandwith thank god) and all i can say is that the modgod will not steer you wrong holy crap man you wasnt kidding this auto installer is awesome! man i cant thank you and the whole hq crew enough im glad im a member of this site every thing is running beautifull now ok enough im going o read the manual for the auto installer! and see what else is in that bad boy. thanks again _________________ XBOX v1.4:
