CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS....COACH MODGOD MABYE I THINK I FINALLY HAVE A DASHBOARD, SIMILIAR TO ONE I HAD EARLIER AND I WANNA MAKE SURE WHATEVER I DO NEXT, DOESN'T ERASE THE DASH.....SIMILIAR TO HOW IT DID EARLIER.....LOL
I HAVE THE XECUTER 4.SOMETHING BIOS ON MY C DRIVE(WHEN IT LOADS IT SHOWS THE XBOX REGULAR LOGO EXCEPT IT SAYS "X-DISK" INSTEAD OF MICROSOFT)
SOME KIND OF EVOX DEFAULT.XBE(I'VE PUT SO MANY ON AND REPLACED THEM THAT I DON'T KNOW WHERE ITS FROM) ON MY C DRIVE
AND NOW I HAVE AN EVOLUTIONX DASH THAT HAS A PURPLE EVOLUTION X SIGN SPINNING SLOWLY, AND A FLOOR PLAN BACKGROUND
AS A MENU I HAVE
MS DASHBOARD
REBOOT
POWER OFF
SETTINGS
BACKUP
AM I ON THE RIGHT TRACK HERE?IF SO, HOW DO I PUT COOL STUFF ON MY SYSTEM?

Thats good, your hacked bios is now successfully flashed to the mod chip...woo woo.
As far as the rest of your post, I would say you have something going on okay, but it sounds like you need to just use the autoinstaller.
Did you do what I told you to do in the other post about the autoinstaller deluxe? I will go look. You really need to get that running soyou can get all the cool dashboards, the applications, and emulators.

hey modgod, i know EXACTLY what you mean about the auto installer bieng pertinent.i figured a couple things out though, and now have the Evolutionx V+3935 dash on my system instead of the other one.if i'm correct, thats the one to go with.i was able to transfer some skins to it and some trainers(even though all i can do with the trainers is change the settings, not play them)
but a noobie like myself is trying to install the surreal emulator.....need i say more?
i was wondering since i can't get the auto installer through dvd, is there a way to ftp it to my system?

No, unfortunately there isn't.
Basically, what you can do though it FTP the individual applications though.
For instance, if you want to install an emulator to your machine you will FTP name the root folder Surreal64. Then FTP it to this directory
F:/Apps/Emulators
Then, when you are done you will be able to reboot your machine and go to "Launch Emulators". Hopefully, it will be automatically added to the list and you will see it.
You can then FTP the roms into the roms folder which should be now located at;
F:/Apps/Emulators/Surreal64/roms
You can do the same thing with other programs. Now, some programs like PxHDD loader have folders in multiple partitions.
that is why it is best to use the Ai because the AI will prepare your partitions with the necessary folders.
You are getting great experience doing it manually though. I just hope you can soon thoroughly enjoy your machine. I am glad we got you pointed in the right direction anyway.

Thanks modgod, you got me real far in my Xploits so far, and the experience of manual program install, would be something.but guess what?a copy of slayer's auto install loaded successfully!i know, it wasn't my first pick either, but its something.i even tried to reburn the deluxe AI hoping that it would work this time, but nope.so i backed up my hard drive and went with this.i'm backing up my kotor 2 right now!only thing, the remaining space on my e drive is low.i'm using dvd2xbox and i have a maxtor 120.do you think i need to put the games in another partition?

assuming you have an F: or G: drive ...put your games in one of these partitions, Go to the options screen in dvd2xbox to enable support for these drives. If they dont appear on the list of games you dumped onto the xbox check your evox.ini file on the c: drive for this section of text:

This tells the dash board where to look for the games . Dvd2xbox wil usually give the option of E:\F:G:\games or just the root of the drive . Stick with the \games directory and you should have no probs _________________ XBOX v1.1
