How do you locate the DO point? I have X3 and v1.1 xbox. Using Xapt3r. Any help?

Here is the Top D0 point. It's next to the LPC area (where the chip is placed).

What chip?

How install? Solder, solderless? What bios? Did you add a new HD yet??

X3 chip using Xapt3r on a v1.1 i believe it was error 7 the light on front of xbox was flashing red and green no other hd have not flashed any bios just tring to see if i had installed it right

Error 07 is HD timeout. If you remove the chip and D0 connection does the error go away?

Are you IDE cables all nice and tight?

Try a quick press to the power button, for just a quick second. Then try a longer one. See if you get any difference in the booting of the Xbox.

The HD was not plugged in. I went back and plugged in all my cables. Good news is Xbox booted up now what do I need to plug into my X3 to get it workingf? I bought the external pro switch . Thanks for all your help I thought I had fried the mother when removing the solder from the holes.
