Many people don't realise that you have to do an LPC rebuild on V1.5 motherboards when you install your chip. It is nowhere near as involved as the rebuild on the V1.6 tho.

Basically the LPC bus on the 1.5 motherboard does not have a ground or 3.3V connections.

Simply add the 2 wires shown on the diagram below and install the chip as usual. This applies to all chips, not just the aladdin shown in the picture.
