Hey guys
I am trying to follow the tutorial on how to install a new HDD. I am installing a 120gig HDD in a friends Xbox that just got an Aladin chip in it yesterday. I am stuck because i cant find the backup utility in the system utilites like it says in the tutorial.
I am not sure if what i am doing is right
Can someone please help me

Hiya, it is probably not enabled in your version of evox.ini, if you are swapping hard drives I would just download an auto-installer, burn it and install the hard drive, evox and apps etc, not really a need for a backup as you will still have the original hard drive which can be plugged in anytime

Hiya
what i mean is you could swap back if you needed a backup, all it really backs up are system files and the eeproms etc, neither of which you need, perhaps the tutorial you have is for a softmod?
You can download the xbox HQ autoinstaller from this site, burn it to a disk (dvd-r or cdrw), plug in the new hard drive, place the disk in, bootup and you can install the new hard drive and software from there, easy as stealing granny's handbags (apparently)

If you don't want to signup then search for slayers 2.6 on bit torrent or something, but you get much more than just downlods for signing up such as premium support (via trouble ticket) access to the vip forum etc and much more.

cool i found Slayers Auto Install 2.6 and it all worked fine , but lol theres always a but. I only have c: d: E: F: and an N: drive. No X,Y,or Z drive. And when i am using XBMC or some program like that within Evox the light on the Xbox stays RED, i am not sure if thats a good thing or not but it all seems to work fine, i can play games off my HDD and off DVD's so do the XYZ drives matter????
Thanks
