What size HD are you using? Chances are, your evox is looking to F:/Games or G:/Games for the file, no E. So, if you are using a stock HD, you may have to edit the EvoX .ini file to point to where you are putting your games, or press the white button on your controller while at the DVD2Xbox main menu. There you can activate certain folders. Possibly the correct folder that the game is supposed to go in, such as E:Games isn't activated and you are putting the games in the wrong folder.

Hiya
To add the skins to evox just add them to the C:\skins folder and reboot, then system utils and then skins from the main menu.
Ive never put a dvd on the hard drive, what media playing software have you got in the apps folder as thats the route you will need to take. Im not sure but you may need to convert it first but don't hold me to that.

Unfortunately, ripping dvd's to the xbox is rather cumbersome. Once ripped the only way I know to watch the movie in its entirety is to use XBMC and use the stack method. When you rip a dvd to a HD basically, you have individual .vob files. This is basically the movie broken down into chunks. Usually, DVD Writing software will put them all together for you on your PC and then you can burn to a disk. Unfortunately, xbox doesn't offer anything like that. XBMC has a feature called "Stack" and I am pretty positive you can use it to stack it all together and watch. I think it reads the .ifo file or something like that...can't remember the extension, but that is the file that lists the .vobs in order.
Anyway, what I do is use a program like 1ClickDVD Ripper to rip the DVD and then convert it to AVI. I can take a 6GB movie and convert it over to a 650mb .avi file. Granted you lose your digial dolby and it converts it to MP3, but the sound is fine on a tv and 2.1 sound system, actually, it's good. If I want serious sound for my home theater I just play the DVD on my main system, but the movies I have on my xbox are for travel anyway.
