Hey everyone!
I've just embarked on my 1st Xbox softmod attempt. I've gathered a copy of 007, Mechassault, and even put together a USB memory unit.
I have a few flash drives that work with my Xbox (1.6, if that matters): a 1 GB Sony MicroVault and a Sony PSP with 32 MB, 256 MB, and 4 GB memory sticks.
The 1 GB Sony MicroVault works perfect as a memory unit; I've successfully copied games onto it from the Xbox, turned off the Xbox, and checked the memory unit again; it works perfectly! The PSP seems to work the same.
The problem is copying files from my computer to one of the above drives.
Xplorer360 looks to be working, but I don't see any of the files when I copy them to my flash drive.
Basically no matter how many files I transfer Xplorer360 looks like this:
And after transferring the files it should look like this:
When I try to view the files on my Xbox, it shows that space on the memory unit was used, but it doesn't show any of the game save files I tried to transfer over.
Just let me know if you need more info.

P.S. - Here is the tutorial I found to softmod using Xplorer360:
Then I used my PSP with the 32 MB memory card and copied the SID files to it.
Turned on my Xbox and the files were there!
My computer is running Windows 7 x64 and my Xbox is a 1.6
I'm going to see if my 256 MB and 4 GB Memory Sticks will work as well.

I just tried it with my SanDisk 256 MB and 4 GB Memory Stick PRO Duos; both work perfectly via my PSP
I just finished backing up a bunch of my game saves
