I am new to modding and I downloaded a smart ftp program to transfer files to my xbox but I am having some troubles with it. I tried to transfer a patch but it kept uploading half way then would reconnect and start over again. Could any one refer me to a tutorial on the whole ftp process or something. I would greatly appreciate it.

Just an additonal information which i havent seen mentioned elsewhere.
Ive personally found (using filezilla, excellent open source ftp client/server) that depending on your dash you have to check your FTP client is set to Passive or Direct mode. For Example Evox only works in passive mode for me, whilst Avalaunch likes Active mode. Until i figured that out your symtoms seem the same i was having. Also by far the most reliable way of FTP to your xbox is through a direct cross over cable, the ftp on the xbox is very sensitive to cheap hubs/switches, especially with time outs.
