Posted: Sat May 19, 2012 8:27 pm Post subject: Completely wipped my HDD but have a recovery disc. Help?
Alright so I modded my xbox a while back and made the recovery disc with the Eeprom on it and everything I just can't recall how to use it. I did the hotswap set up and got into the part where I can make an HD key using the eeprom on the disc and it makes that HDkey file but I can't seem to figure out how to use that file or locate that file to unlock my HDD so that I can further mod it. I can't do the error 12 or anything because even before the xbox can get to any error screen with a number it just jumps to that ultimate error screen where it doesn't show a number. Pointers anyone?

If you have eeprom no need to hotswap. Just follow this tut from where I first hook the HDD to the PC and boot HDM. The rebuild starts at about 3:55
