if i have a xenium chip and a version 1 xbox what bios should i use i have downloaded a couple but the file size is so small i dont think that they could actually alter the way my xbox does things. And also does the disc that i use have to be cd-rw or what?

I would suggest downloading any of the latest bioses.. For example the 'M8 Bios' is very new and supports all the latest features..
DJB has gone to alot of trouble here on xboxhq and created a bios cd pack which is available in our VIP DOwnloads section here:

thats should get you started in the right direction..

If you xbox has a samsung DVD ROM drive then you will be able to use CDR otherwise you will have to choose a CDRW/DVD-R..
Im not sure with xenium but i think you can ftp the bios onto the hdd and flash from the hdd.. RM (realmccloy) will know the full details he has done a few.. Contact him via pm if you like
