Just for shits and giggles I decided to gut my PS2 and see how to go about juicing it like an XBOX. After it was said and done I noticed that I can stick up to a 200GB HDD in my PS2 once I finish loading MCBOOT and HDD Loader. Only problem is from what I can find only certain drives work with the PS2 would anyone happen to know what drives those are or of a decent site for me to go to. Ive been checking around and all Ive found so far is sleazy sites with forums where you can tell from reading the omments the people have no clue what they are doing. Even saw one that claimed it was impossible to use AR EVO to load the files on a Datel 64mb card which is why Im posting this here, Id like some advice from real modders and not some crackheads who do the trick videos like the BS play pirated games off a USB drive on the 360s with no mods

Back when I modded my PS2 I remember reading some thing about it. If I remember correctly you have to have a PS2 network adapter to be able to hook up the hard drive. I also seem to remember them talking about a specific model of Western Digitial hard drive.

You know when it comes to Sony I think I just want to juice their stuff cause I hate them so much with all this proprietary crap and their shall we say sub-par DVD-Roms and lasers. I started on M$ stuff the same way but at least they make a decent product, you can drop an XBOX and it'll still work, you look at a PS2 wrong it will bust into a million pieces.
I got a 60GB Seagate in it now so no more getting up to put Sopranos or Res 4 in (M$ really dropped the ball not getting that series on XBOX)
