The smart xx chip should have a built in OS, i think you get to it by hitting the eject button.

ok, so if I dowload/rip/put this on dvd and in xbox, what exactly will it do?

You can use it to restore the c drive, it has a whole schwack of differant tools and options

everything from install new dashbaords, backing up your bios, upgrading hdds (modchip only).. there are several options for softmod and modchip so just select from the appropriate menus and you will love it.

So I finally got AID downloaded and burned, and got it on my xbox, I formatted the C: drive and installed Evox on it and the xbox wanted to shut down to complete installation. I attempted to add evoxdash.xbe to my launch menu, but still get the File Doesnt Fit error...and now it wont read the disk either...any ideas?
Is it possible this is a modchip error?

okkk then, no ideas there.
Then let me ask this, is it possible to get your xbox and pc to connect via FTP with just the Xenium gold 24k modchip? because I can still access my modchip dashboard, but evox wont launch, if I can get onto the harddrive I beleive I can fix it though. But, so far I have been unsuccesful in my attempts to do this...
