Hi all!
I just got my XBoX and I have a problem. For some time I was trying to adjust my XBoXso I went on Avalaunch and I accidentely pressed on EEPROM Restore(I think that that was written). I have the Alladin chip.And I have UnleashX dashbar , one line was »Avalaunch« so you will know how I got there!!!
So when I pressed on EEPROM Restore my XBoX went out. When I turned it on there was nothing on my monitor just darkness. I tried to start my Alladin Chip but nothing happened, just red light flashing(and same thing with darkness on my TV).
Does anybody know what happened to my XBoX and how can I solve this problem???
I think someting must be wrong with EEPROM, but I am not sure.
I would be very happy if somebody helped me!

hmm i dont know. At the time when i bought my xbox the seller had tell me that is it chiped with Aladin chip. That is all that i know abaout my chip...

My local electrician have checked my xbox with his programer without succes. Than he swetched aladdin to another xbox. The xbox have booted but then was error 12 on the screen and dvd didnt worked, so he could not flashed... Now i have my xbox without aladdin, but there is still red light flashing...
Hope that i can still fix somehow my xbox. Any help would be great.

Just red could mean an over heat did you try different cables and all the simple fix stuff?

yes i have already try all this sipmle fix stuff without any succes... i dont know why is flashing red light with or without chip and no screen on tv, but can open the dvd...

I now have one more xbox at home from my friend, which is softmoded ( version 1.6 ). Can i install modchip to softmoded xbox and than flash the modchip with X2 5035 BIOS (will allow the console to boot and function normally regardless of whether the EEPROM is readable or not) and than re-install modchip to my xbox? Is this correct procedur? I have read something about, that my hdd must be unlocked? How do i know if is locked or not?
You could do that but in all honesty i think you are creating a load of work for yourself.
You will need to rebuild a part of the underside of the motherboard for the chip to work in a v1.6
once the chip is installed it still wont boot because its already knackered,
it being softmodded wont help because your chip looks for a dashboard in a different location to a softmod does.
An easy fix is to find someone with an alladin chipped box and hotswap the chip to do the flashing _________________
