Hey - I'm new to this... I got a free XBOX because my boss's kid kicked in the DVD drive. I replaced it with a Thompson drive off eBay, and now it reads games. My buddy is telling me about a mod that uses the exploit for MechWarrior - no mod chip! Does anyone have any more details about that? We tried it, and I got a "cannot load saved game" error, which means it ain't workin'.
I'm open to ideas, I just don't want to drop a chip in there, I have no clue what I'm doing

Hi DrBlackfeld and welcome to xbox-hq mate..
Unfortunately i HAVE NOT done a soft mod yet myself nor will i have the time in the near future to give it a go.. There are a handful of members here who can help you with this but you will have to contact them via pm i would think because they arent that active.. We have heaps of members who can help you with a modchip etc but not SOFTMOD sorry..
Try searching our forums for other SOFTMOD related topics and find the guys who have successfully done it.. Then send them a pm..
