Hey guys,
Il jump right into it, setting up my xbox again, but i have lost hard drive space, theres a 300gb in there but atm i only have 25gb available. checked all the places, and pretty much F is the partition where 280gb should be available. ive checked it through and through, theres the standard apps in there about 20 skins, 3 games and a couple videos, ive deleted all the old stuff that was on there. the series might be about 30gb orso. so this means there is a lot of space gone which should be there. ive checked and found what appears to be a corrupted file i cannot delete. look at the picture int he attachment for more details about it. if i attempt to delete this file it shows up again so it will be like 2 folders called HZa'. im getting the auto installer deluxe disc now because i feel i might need it for the solution, however im clueless atm as to what todo. loads of things are an option i wouldnt mind having to format the disc, or reinstalling from scratch if that would allow me to format. alternatively i dont have the tools but it would have been possible to take out the hard disk, plug it into the pc and then format it there. im just unsure how to fix it, what the actual problem is and how i should move forward to solve it.
thanks in advance.

Welcome to the HQ bro and lets start with the fact i don't see a pic?
Next thing that might help would be to know what kind of mod you have?
Let us know that and i am sure we can get the ball rolling here.

When you have the AID disk you could just do a fresh install with the chipped one click install for larger HDD.

the box doesnt wanna read the dvd im burning. ive got a thompson drive ><, ive burned with nero9 and dvd decrypter, followed some tutorials. just made another one with dummyfiles and tons of addon on there, used the aid updater tool for it same result. dont think its possible to run it from the hd? im using dvd rw's btw thought i had to use those ><. what can i do cuz i have no clue now
edit: still had slayers 2.7 so burned that, didnt work either. im wondering now, cant i use xbpartitioner to format the f:drive? only problem i see with this is that it might nto be possible at all, alongside that evox.ini and the apps themselfs are on that drive. if its possible to move the apps and the ini stuff would it work then? also found out that a lot of the apps in f:/apps have no contents in the folders, found one that was corrupt like A?!LRLR filename, and most only have default.xbe in there 0o

Hey managed to fix the problem. The dvd brand has always been a pain so i kinda gave up, then i realised i could try doing the pc dvd drive hookup, so i got the tools and did that. it worked! was really easy from there, format F with the AID disc and also did a new install, since it is kinda old, so updates were nice, dash looked different etc. anyway i got my 280+gb space now so im happy
thanks for time wes!
