Hi to all of you.
I come to you with questions about fixing EEPROM.
I got an Xbox v 1.6 with Alladin Live on it and it has EEPROM error. When I try to boot it it flashes green light. I did some reaserch about EEPROM but i don't fully understand it as I am new to this stuff... Is there a way to rewrite eeprom to fix startup problem ( and still have moded xbox )
I found something like this:
Code:

And this:

user dartht33bagger says here that:

You could always install a softmod and then boot up the xbox with the chip disconnected and boot to Evox. Then connect the chip and set it to the bank you want. Then use the bios flasher that comes in Evox and flash the chip.
Is there a way to fix this problem? Does answer by user dartht33bagger would be applying to my case??
Hello,
Does your xbox boot up without the chip enabled ? .... If it does then its not the Eeprom but the Bios that the mod chip has been flashed with that`s causing the error, what Darth suggests would work to fix that kind of problem.
If you have a Memory card, a way of transferring game saves to it and the game 007 agent under fire i`ll knock up a game save based flasher with a bios compatible with your chip / xbox version and you could use that method as an alternative. _________________

I don't know about allidin chips because I have never used them, but most mod chips have a way of turning them off and booting up to the stock MS bios.
Try turning on the console with the eject button. That is usually the button that will turn the chip off. _________________

I thought if its installed correctly you should just HOLD the power button and the chip is ACTIVATED.. If you press the power button quickly or hit the eject button to turn on the xbox it should boot DEACTIVATED.
