Hey guys just letting you know everything so far is running smooth though i still have to ftp the majority of my stuff though. 1 thing i have noticed that the inside of the xbox flashes red.. It look's like it's coming from under the dvd drive. Does anyone know what it means or if it will cause me trouble in the future? All i can find on google is a bunch of 360 stuff.

So I ordered a SATA -> IDE converter from DealExtreme 4 weeks ago, never showed up sent email blah blah... not the point here. Gave up and ordered a Sabrent (Sabrent IDE Ultra ATA-100/133 to Serial ATA (SATA) Port Mini Converter - Model #: SBT-STDB) from TigerDirect. It has a striking resemblance to the DealExtreme one... but i actually received this one, so that made it better, but it is also 4 times the price, and no free shipping... but i received it
I got the exact same converter from dealextreme from a Australian site. They did take a good month to arrive though.

The red flashing could be an activate light on your chip.

Hey guys... thought I would post my findings, and see if anyone could help me out at the same time. So I started transferring games to the Xbox, with a 900+GB F drive formatted with 64k clusters, and after about the 300GB mark, I started getting the writing over data, and had to abort, and go with 2 450GB+ F&G. ran Xboxpartitioner and made sure the F&G were formatted with 32K clusters. Loaded F with about 457GB and figured I would load the rest on G. Started the transfer and went on my merry way (Since the 450+ took over 36 hours) and finally, 12 hours later BING!!!! Done, only to find my G drive have about 185GB of games, and NOTHING ON MY F!!! Man... I am really not happy. That is 48 hours down the drain, and no closer to having a 1TB drive in my Xbox. Can someone who has this running give me a tip on which bios to run? I am currently running the M8 256K. I am just not sure if it is the plus or not. I have the Evtool 1.06, but it cannot see what the settings are as I assume the bios is to new for the software. I also dl's AID 4.5... so I have access to all the BIOS's... just not sure which I should use.
Any help would be once again... greatly appreciated.

As long as you are sure it is an DUO X2 then any of the X2 BIOS will work, i would use the X2 5035 BIOS since it is the best one out.
