Hey all. I've got a chipped xbox v.1 with a 300 gig hdd, a softmoded v.1 with a stock hdd, and a new, blank 1tb sata drive with the converter. From what i've gathered from the tutorials section and elsewhere around the web, i can format the 1tb with AID 4.5 and xbpartitioner, then ftp in my backed up c and e drives to get it set up in the chipped box. I wanted to transfer the 300 gig drive to the softmod, though, so my main question is before i change it out for the 1tb, can i just ftp in the backed up c and e drives from the softmod and then just plug it into the softmod, or is there some reason this wouldn't work i haven't caught? Also, is there anything wrong with my logic as far as getting the new hd into the chipped xbox? Thanks!

With the softmodded xbox you will need to use a program called CHIMP.
CHIMP runs on the XBOX console and allows you to connect 2 drives and it will do all the work for you..
The modchipped xbox you have shouldnt cause you any problems at all..
But with the softmodded one please be sure you get backups of everything before proceeding. _________________ HQ Network:
