you guys undoubtably get this one regularly, but i've tried several different approaches to this and don't seem to be getting anywhere fast... I've got my original version of splinter cell (PAL), transferred the installer and PAL savegame to the xbox HDD from mem stick (using action replay). When i load the savegame i can see the profile 'linux' and start that.. the xbox just hangs after this, black screen (at least MS could've made it more blue to increase my comfort levels!!) and unresponsive... Has anyone experienced this before? What should i be looking for to correct this as i've tried all the turotrials, instructions etc that i could find...

Hello, Do you have a previous splinter cell save on your harddrive ? (not an exploit, just a normal regular save, delete it if so)

no, no previous save games exist in the hard drive at all.. i've deleted all saved games Smile

**EDIT** for anyone who stumbles across this post in the future, i fixed this problem with a different memory card. The memcard i was using wasn't playing nicely with the xbox, a new memory card (512MB) fixed the problem.
