I accidently renamed the xboxdash.xbe file in the root of C: to xboxbash.xbe (I know - dumb twat). Anyhow I can't load anything now. I get a message "dashboard file settings incorrect".
How can I recover from this sorry situation
My BIOS is X2 4976.02.

Hi,
Burn a EVOX iso onto CDRW/DVD-R and then pop it in your XBOX..
This will then boot directly off the evox iso you have made and will let you ftp into the xbox..
Just make sure before you make the evox iso you setup your network ip address and subnet then burn it..
