Hi, I have Ozmodchip installed few years ago with switch to turn off. Never been update the bios since then. Can the modchip support the new AID 4.5?
Thanks

It can run the new AID, it will not effect the chip BIOS unless you tell it to.

Thanks, intended to install the new evox 1st (is there any? or should use newer program to play backups? which one is better?), maybe media center and emulator on it later.

I feel there is no better then XBMC but if you like it real simple and want the job taken care of with no bells or whistles then Evox is good but it has not been updated in years.

Hi edgar,
Only first gen modchips may require you to change one of the filenames in order to boot, but i doubt you have one of those chips installed.

tested the AID4.5. Found out that my chip is only 256k
can't get the latest x2 install
when i try to upgrade to latest Evox, it seems it still running the old Evox. When i try to install XBMC, it install, but still running at old Evox.......
how to use the trainer?
can i use the one click installation? my modchip was installed with switch, so it doesn't affect the C drive?
Thanks in advance

Yeah man you can use the one click install and to use the trainers just go to your games list in XBMC and hit the white button and update trainers (must be on line) and when its got them you will see a yellow symbol on the game icons that have trainers.
just hit the white button with the game highlighted to get to the trainer list for that game.

Thanks again wes, i thought the AID4.5 comes with quite a big library of trainers already. so far i'm able to install Unleash and XBMC only. But unleash doesn't have trainer function?
Evox still refuse to install in my xbox, after install and reboot, it always reboot after bios boot. (read up some old thread stated cause by some trainer....... this is tricky)
I've updated my bios from 4977 to 4983 (can't go higher than that because of my 256k chip) - i realised that my soul calibur 2 doesn't load anymore, is it because lack of eject fix in 4983? but my mortal kombat able to load now, as previously can't.

The point of updating the trainers in XBMC is so it will link the game to the corresponding trainer.
If you really want EVOX then install it and reboot to AID, then use the AID file manager to remove the trainers.
Once you can boot evox run XBMC as an app and use it to update the trainers list.

Thanks Wes213! was trying for the couple of hours. Finally get it done. Should have read ur response 1st. but was busy trying.
Initially wanted Evox because XBMC's trainer doesn't work. Now found out that is the trainer causing problem........
Now i use unleash with application of XBMC and Evox.
Thank you again. Will try on emulator in the near future.
