Ok I have just installed Xdsl and its great! I downloaded all the programs that are recommended for sound and grafix etc
My question is Is it normal for the flash video to be choppy? firefox2.0
i searched all over the place cant find the answer

Yeah man, the xbox is a crappy PC and thats why most folks use it for games and media.

Its really weird that its choppy. In xbmc all media files run smoothly. I just find it strange that the exact media in linux streaming from the net is choppy! The only reason i wanted linux was to avoid the annoying xbmc plugins for streaming divx movies from the net.
Thanks ill try it tonight. Also do you have any good alternatives for divx streaming.

I tried and tried with every program to surf net with Xbox but it just dont cut it. Loads wayy to slow and most web sites have flash that the versions of linux cant handle. I found plugins and scripts to be the best way to watch videos/shows that I wanted to use xbox to go out and find.
Good luck but it was pointless for me and wasnt very practical.
