I am a noob to modding and was wondering there is a way to do a softmod without using the save game exploit. The save game exploit is the only one I have found so far in my research and I do not have any of the 4 games the work. I want to install the XBMC for starters, then go from there.

I think you can hotswap the softmod onto the HDD, never done it myself though.
If I was you'd I'd just pick up one of the games used for like $3. _________________
