Hmm...
I've, by accident, unmodded my xbox.
I think.
I wanted to test AID 4.40, and wanted to start anew.
First I (ahem) removed the softmod, but then the xbox rebooted.
Anyway. I still have my EvolutionX dash, but can't start the AID-DVD.
I can change IP settings and change the FTP-password, but when I try to FTP my xbox I'm refused. Don't know why.
So, is there any way I can fix this?
Or do I need to remove the hard disk and hotswap? Again?

It would really help to know what you did from the start. Did you softmod or install a chip?
If you softmodded it, I recommend re-doing the mod by running the original game you have the SID for and simply running the softmod again, but I didn't think you could keep the hacked dashboard when you remove the softmod... _________________ If you don't learn something every day, you have no life.

There is no way its still booting to evox if its not modded anymore. If it was unmodded the xbox would boot to the ms dash. _________________

So I'm guessing he either A)has a chipped box or B)removed the softmod SAVE that it installs onto the HDD for use with games?

Sorry guys
I had the xbox softmodded by 'some guy' who had a memory card (cost me 20 euros back then)
I don't know what softmod he used, I'm sorry, I don't know anything about that.
Since then it started up with EvolutionX Dash.
I installed XBMC (which I ran through EvloutionX->apps->XBMC).
And today, like I said in the start, I f***ed it up by wanting to install anew, and thus removing the softmod.
The fact that I opened this topic is that I know a part of the softmod is still working, otherwise I wouldn't get the EvolutionC Dash going.
But (until before my mistake) I could load the AID-DVD, or FTP to my xbox, but that isn't the case anymore.
It's like it has reverted to an unmodded xbox, expect for the Dash.
(which I know can't be the case).
I hope I'm a bit clearer now?

Go look in your saves and see if the gamesaves for the softmod are still in there. If they are you can get the game that it was softmodded with and boot that up if you can't get AID to work. _________________
